Todays visiting places are so exciting and dazzling. I went to the Buckingham Palace the most important palace in UK. Buckingham Palace, palace and London residence of the British sovereign. It is situated within the borough of Westminster. The palace takes its name from the house built (c. 1705) for John Sheffield, duke of Buckingham. It was bought in 1762 by George III for his wife, Queen Charlotte, and became known as the queen’s house. By order of George IV, John Nash initiated the conversion of the house into a palace in the 1820s. Nash also reshaped the Buckingham Palace Gardens and designed the Marble Arch entryway, which was later removed (1851) to the northeast corner of Hyde Park. The Mall front, or Fore Court (east side), was expanded in 1847 by Edward Blore and redesigned in 1913 by Sir Aston Webb as a background for the Queen Victoria Memorial statue. Nash’s garden front (west side) remains virtually unchanged. Victoria was the first sovereign to live there (from 1837). Buckingham Palace is the symbol of British monarchy. This is so luxurious and magnificent.Within the palace the Queen’s Gallery exhibits works from the royal art collection, including Fabergé eggs and drawings by Leonardo da Vinci. The changing of the guard takes place regularly (generally every morning from May through July and every other morning during the rest of the year), but the royal standard is flown over the palace only when the sovereign is in residence. Traditionally closed to the public, the State Rooms of the palace were opened to tourists during August and September in the mid-1990s in order to finance repairs to Windsor Castle, which was damaged by fire in 1992.Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms. These include 19 State rooms, 52 Royal and guest bedrooms, 188 staff bedrooms, 92 offices and 78 bathrooms. In measurements, the building is 108 metres long across the front, 120 metres deep (including the central quadrangle) and 24 metres high. Buckingham Palace gates are so big and broad. The main gate is so crowded that at all times. The avenue is decorated with flowers, fountain and marble floor. Gates are opened in ceremonies. Also I saw British soldiers in Buckingham Palace. They were so sullen and serious. The kingdom is so critic and important. They always respect this situation. Then today I went to another good place: Canary Wharf. I strongly recommend this area, because I wonder so much in the old times. I saw big skyscrepers, buildings, work offices. There were different and amazing parks in Canary Wharf. One park including daffodil statue and colourful benchs. There was a mini golf place in there. I saw the label of Canary Wharf. Parks are enjoyable and fascinating. Parks were full of fountains and green areas. Then I went to Stratford. Stratford is a different place to see. It’s including a shopping centre (Westfield) and interesting statues. For example in the stadium there was green flowers statue in there. I saw one locomotive model in the street. This model was very old and historic. Locomotive was belong to World War 1 and not in use. I saw Westfield Shopping Centre in Stratford. This centre is so big and huge too. I recognized some good malls in the shopping centre. Then I went to Oxford Street . Oxford Street is the most famous street in Central London. This place was so crowded and full of people. There were some military people stautues on the street side. For example; Montgomery. There was so fantastic malls: Disney, Apple Store, H&M, Holland and Barret, Bershka and souvenir shops. I saw some good animations in Tottenham Court Road near to Oxford Street. These animations related to wild life, ocean and sea life, artic areas, jellyfish, butterfly hunting, environment protection. I love this day and I’m so satisfied. Happy ending in this day too.
